Alberta Basic Security Training (ABST)
is an Alberta Solicitor General training course that must be successfully completed in order for a person to become a licensed security professional in Alberta. I have taught this program since 2010 and bring a wealth of experience to this course.
Pressure Point Control Tactics (PPCT)
is the most widely recognized defensive tactics system in the world needed to control unlawful behavior. I have taught this program since 2006 and use the skills regularly in my work. Skills will include handcuffs, batons and empty hand control techniques
Verbal De-escalation Tactical Communication
is the original, and most comprehensive, de-escalation 'tactical communication' (TacCom) course that exists. It provides the skills and concepts needed to interact effectively with emotionally compromised individuals. I have taught this program since 2008 and use this techniques regularly in my everyday work.
